Update (2025-10-18): We found a backup from July 19th, 2024. We agreed with GBSC that they will restore the Mastodon instance from that backup, so users that had an account before that date will be able to log-in on the new instance directly, or reset the password if they changed it.
Pocket Pixels Club has had a hard drive failure and unfortunately we never finished setting up the remote backup system. We'd like to apologize to all of the users of the instance and hope you won't hold it against Mastodon as a whole. Backing up properly was our responsibility and we regret that it wasn't done.
It's not all bad news though. We are making arrangements to transfer the domain to GB Studio Central, who are planning to set up a new instance with a proper backup system. And you will be able to sign up again with the same username as before. Come back here in a week or two to sign up on the new instance.
